CIELO
Ever heard of a story on a piece of timber? I don't mean the ones that are bland and have no personality I mean a piece of timber that actually lives and has feelings.
Well as insane as it may seem I encourage you to have a look at the blog on the right of this page "CIELO". A very clever piece of writing and it is quite funny, sad, and a bit scary when you think it has come from someones mind.......
Anyway, have a click its worth it.
This week 6Ps goes on the road to capture the swells near Queensland. The production crew are geared up and excited about a return to the Goldie for some waves and good times. Should the waves not arrive the SALT bar at Kingscliff will have to restock its supplies.
The waves at Creso have been small but lots of fun. At the present moment it has run out of swell and a strong southerly is blowing over the hill with a wintery feel. The past few days has seen some young longboarders/loggers or whatever the rad name is now. The swinging heads flaying arms and 5 over the nose while using the other foot as a scooter foot are entertaining. As much as the surfing style is entertaining, the fashion on shore is equally as flamboyant and back to the future. California has had its influence.(again)
Due to popular demand a quick pic of Jen (photo in California)
I was lucky enough to capture some film of a couple of ladies starting their careers in the surfing world. While travelling up the coast to visit all the surfing havens they stopped in Crescent head spent a night at my place and allowed me to edit this in the way it has been done. I take my hat off to them for having a go and getting the bug (not from my beds, I mean the surfing bug)
Enjoy: "Thelma and Louise go surfing"
Here is hoping the goldie delivers some good footage
Aloha
