Deep Winter

Here we are in the depths of winter and the cold wet weather can be enough to make you stir crazy. Having said that, the shortest day has past and its all good for heading into Spring and Summer.

The mid North Coast has copped its share of rain but the surf has been pretty good. Whales have been steaming up the coast in large numbers and none have been interfered with by South Koreans or the Japanese. What a joke, now the South Koreans are having a go.

It seems governments just talk but Sea shepherd act on the slaughter of whales - go lads.

Summer Thoughts

Sorry I just strayed a bit in my thoughts and remembered some of the nice things about summer. This picture is from Byron Bay fashion house "Lisa Blue".

Summer scenes by artist Georgie Maddox.

6Ps chief film editor Milo has been out and about on the music scene with some of his rather strange mates. Apart from returning to our studios in a rather bedraggled state and reciting "take a walk on the wild side" he has discovered an excellent talent.

Named "Duan and Only" and based in Sydney -  we present Duan: (turn up the volume)

In keeping with the theme of todays post, digging our way out of winter, enjoy this short clip:

6Ps has also been busy obtaining some technical material on the best way to get the most out of your surfing equipment and will present this in the next post.

In the meantime go to the Sea Shepherd website and see what you can do to stop the slaughter of whales and sea life. You may wish to help by purchasing merchandise, making a donation or simply offer time.

In our busy lives we don't get time to observe at any length the wonderful wild life in and around the ocean. It is majestic and needs our continual monitoring.

 Aloha
