Not only do we have some nice film of Craig Anderson bought to you by Quiksilver but some nice pictures of surfing, the finer gender, and some special offers for those interested in the exploration of things a little different.
( Star of the new movie Puberty Blues)
Surf conditions on the north coast have been good and the weather and air has had that smell of spring. Although there will probably be another final blast of winter within the next couple of days as strong southerly winds and swell of up to 10 ft are predicted.
To put you in the mood for some surfing and excellent style check this out:
Craig Anderson and his trademark style get the appetite wet for some serious surfing.
It is fair to say that with the advent of the digital age there are some pretty seriously creative and talented photographers out there. Some may say with digital cameras the art of photography is lost. Depending upon your point of view it may very well be the case, however, it may also be argued that it does allow a broader creative bent to photography rather than the technical restrictions of older photography.
In any case it is always nice to see a great photograph (or painted art).
6Ps has always been a great believer in the rhythm of nature, the world and the surf we all enjoy. Amongst the rhythm is also shape and light that at times takes your breath away. The rhythm of sunsets and sun rises the colour of the ocean on large swell and no swell. Shape of waves and the light that dances across the surface at different times.
The rhythm of the seasons that come and go and transform the surrounds and at times people.

Seasons end...........from cool to warm to ..... summer and this will be forgotten:

OK......... nice photography is also subject to viewer perspective, a photograph that appeals to you may not appeal to someone else, so in order to cover this, 6Ps has thrown in a couple of photos for viewers own judgement.........
6Ps is excited to introduce a partner in all things creative. Named "Noahs Ark" this Australian initiative has creatively designed and made quality board covers wholly within Australia.
Not your usual run of the mill board covers but designed to be robust and look good as well. With a slightly retrospective touch these board covers are great. I have 3 of them for my quiver and find them easy to use and I am proud to leave them lying around to get the "looks"..... and they do!
More news on these will be in further posts however here are a couple of shots of them:
Made in various sizes from denim and various materials machine stitched with overlock seams. They are made to order or off the rack.
Priced around $70 and delivered free within Australia they are a must. For initial enquiries please contact Milo on the 6Ps email (sixpees66@yahoo.com).
Sometimes when you want to be an individual and break free from the standard, and be different, you just have to yell "Unfuck my World"!!!! Hit the inbox for Noahs Ark Board Covers!!
Reclaiming names can be pretty hard in todays world. I used to have a girlfriend when I was young and her name was Gai. She was really beautiful - tall, slim and graceful. I often wonder how she feels now having had her name stolen by the Gay community. Now 6Ps does not discriminate but is merely pointing out how words and names can change in meaning over time.
Of course "sick" used to mean vomiting your heart out on cheap wine in the park when you were under age. Now it means fantastic. Or if it is really sick, which used to mean - stomach pump - it now means really fantastic!
Then there is "stoked". Although this word has been around since the 70's and means similar to sick, I prefer to remember it as the thing you did to your girlfriend............as in stoked the fireplace.
I could probably carry on for ages about this, however I think this picture says it all:
Sorry got a bit sidetracked there.........
Here is a little something just to soften things up and get you back to a rhythm.
Aloha
