The Mid North Coast is delivering Spring weather and some small but rideable waves. The smell of summer is beginning to ever so gently wisp around in the air and people are smiling.
The "old mal" contest is being held in Crescent Head this weekend with off shore winds and waves up to 4 ft being predicted. This is a yearly event and brings out all the old memorabilia, including cars, boards and people...........the weather is also predicted to be clear and fine so woohoo!
Given the feel in the air 6Ps would like to bring to you picture and video delights to lighten your day in todays post.
Some photos were taken by the 6Ps team including some unusual rock formations. Some photos were drawn down from sites with like minds. We also feature a really nice video in honour of women surfers. As a matter of fact there is a theme running throughout todays post that pays tribute to women who surf, so enjoy.
Generally speaking shapes are very important when surfing, and this lady shows us such an example of good shape.........a swallow tail thruster around 5'10" I would say................
I seriously recommend the Tallow Gallery to women surfers who identify with classy fashion, based in Byron Bay they certainly impress. Examples of their unique style is easily seen in these fine photos from their web site.
Women enjoying water, surf and life.
Finally as our tribute to women and surfing enjoy this video and music
In line with shapes and lines and things beautiful, although of the mother nature variety we proudly present some "point and shoot" photos taken on the North Coast.
We hope you enjoy todays post and look forward to the warmth coming our way soon. Spring is in the air, and time to get in ............shape.......
Aloha
