Crescent Head Contest shot from the water

In a final of a series of posts from 6Ps we conclude the reminiscing and memories of surfing in the past.

Todays clip was taken by the 6Ps Film crew and is of the OLD MAL Contest held in Crescent Head - 2012

We have been pleased to bring you interesting chapters of surfing through the years and will continue to revisit this subject from time to time. Working from a place like Crescent Head enables 6Ps to research the earlier surfing years and have characters visit the area that are rich in surfing history.

We have also featured female surfers and their achievements and will continue to do so. Women and Girls in surfing are gradually starting to rise and excellent websites and facebook pages demonstrate how strong this movement has become. "Chicks who surf" is an excellent example and also has a social conscience dealing with marine wildlife.

For the ladies who had their 45 year reunion (The Southside Surf Team) in Crescent Head and are original women surfers it must be rewarding to see these movements.

Members of this site along with Facebook friends have been receiving one off music clips subjectively selected by Milo Minderbinder. A bit of Friday afternoon music to clear the head and interpret the message.......

Milo, Yossarian and Paul are excited about the upcoming summer and are looking forward to providing some creative stories and first class surf film, so stay tuned or simply become a member of 6Ps (as shown at side of page).
