Christmas in Australia - lets go surfin'

One of the great things about the land of convicts and other strange things like funnel web spiders, venomous snakes that kill you outright, and other life threatening species,is the fact that while most of the northern hemisphere has a white Christmas freezing their tits off, Australia comes alive and it is hot.

So here we are rapidly reaching the month of December and the consumerism season (aka Christmas).

My friend Milo wants to make this year special for giving and is sourcing inexpensive gifts, or at no cost at all. Since he came out of rehab his finances have been light on. A sample of the gifts Milo is thinking of is this:

He calls it a "skin scaler". Simply take into the shower and rub it over your skin to get rid of the dead skin, a wonderful addition to any Christmas stocking.

Then there is the gift voucher for a ride (as passenger) on a conventional push bike, fully maintained and ridden by Milo.

But seriously folks, we are lucky to be in this land, right here, right now, so we can go surfing while the world goes to sleep.

SALT, SEA,SURF........This is Christmas!!
