It's on it's way.....

The trials and tribulations of a small but enthusiastic film maker are pretty damn exhausting.

As mentioned in the last blog we are striking problems producing our hour long movie......The CRescent Head Malibu Classic 2013. It is a beauty, with music, bands, quality surf and surfing, surf art show and much more.

Not to be outsmarted by technical issues we soldier on. The purchase of an IMac with the single purpose of pushing the Final Cut editing software is a winner. Wow! This thing zaps along at unbelievable speed, and brings a smile to our editing team headed up by Milo. So, we are not that far away from release of this movie.

The surf here has been epic. Great size great swell direction and the winds are perfect for this part of the coast. The 6Ps crew have been hitting the waves instead of doing the producing of the film however that is our motto.......nothing gets done if the surf is good and the beers are cold.

6Ps gets a new studio

Much to the delight of our intrepid crew we have secured a studio to do our film production and surf art. Fully self contained with a bar fridge, this great studio is 15 minutes from the point and is surrounded by farm land. Milo has hidden his creative supplements in the back paddock and continues to eat the mushrooms that grow in abundance in this pastoral wonderland..........

A picture of the studio will be in our next post, we are currently camouflaging the roof to avoid detection.......

There is some great stuff happening on the mid north coast over the coming months. The  Kempsey Shire Art Prize kicks off on the 27th June at the Gladstone community Art Gallery, and later in the year, around September will be in the inaugural Macleay Valley river festival. This will include all things art, surf and river activities. A fantastic initiative and well worth the visit .

Stay warm and remember winter is the time to improve your surfing......

Aloha
