The rise and rise of cross surfing

We are not sure at 6Ps and we may be living in a sheltered environment, but we seem to be observing a rise in the number of good surfers riding everything from single fin trackers to 9ft longboards and everything in between. 

Crescent Head seems to be transforming from the oldie longboarder to the slick cross surfer. Pretty exciting really, as this may lead to bigger and better things in the surfing world. Consider competitions of various surf craft with great prize money and less sponsorship money.

One thing is for certain, the rise of the big surf companies has ceased and something is brewing in the background. If the biggies cant afford the competitions and survival of the shareholders is put first, its a case of another brand amongst many including the likes of Van Heusen, Polo Ralph Loren etc., There goes the unique market.

So......its not all gloom and doom, it is a great opportunity for Surfing to evolve again.

On the continuing story of our technical worries we are pleased to advise we have invested in some extra grunt and gone all out on an IMac with huge capacity to push Final Cut Pro at breakneck speed! 

We have completed the film on the 2013 Malibu Classic (25 years) and are in the process of designing the DVD Cover and pressing copies. Keep posted on release date and ordering.
