Australia, the coast and moon gazing

This week we had a super moon, whatever that is. I mean it was a full moon but somehow it was more super than normal because it came closer to the earth which made it pretty special.

The 6ps crew headed to a local National Park - Goolawah, where we witnessed this occasion, got all freaky, and had some great surf.

In fact we spent 5 days away in our mobile office, photographing, filming and taking in the Spring weather with all the associated Australian wildlife, you know......black snakes, swooping birds that have a dose of the shits because you are somewhere near their nests, that sort of thing.

Fully set up with appropriate solar power we found no reason or want to return to civilisation for the entire time. We simply explored the beaches, enjoyed our time with nature and were humble in its surroundings.

We apologise for the lack of surf action in this post but we have decided to save that for another day. It was decided we should simply show the stunning sights of this wonderful land we call home. It is truly a magical experience to spend time away from other people and places to recharge and take in the simple things. Think about it.........how many times in our busy days do we actually stop.....look up.....and observe the blue sky?

We were also lucky enough to photograph the super moon, a photograph will never do it justice, but we wanted to share it with our suffering readers anyway.

Our intention was to give it a bit of a haunting edge, we hope we have achieved that......

To touch the Earth, to touch the sun, to touch the moon..............

Whales gracefully splashed and played as they made their way north for the breeding season. Sharks in numbers tend to follow these wonderful creatures in the hope that one may get ill and become their prey. We were lucky not to encounter any sharks during our surf sessions.

We gathered heaps of film and now the editing must start....long hours, late nights, heaps of red wine and love.

The tranquility and absolute pristine environment of this wonderful part of the Australian coast is beyond compare.

Stay safe fellow travellers.

Aloha
