6Ps has been busy editing film and chasing surf to add to the completed project. As is always the case, a sense of humour must be part of any project.
When you look at the clock and it's 1am in the morning and you have consumed copious amounts of alcohol to assist with the creative angles, sometimes you begin to lose concentration and drift off on a tangent.
Todays clip is one such tangent. When I looked at how much had to be cut out of the good footage I started to see something that had my mind thinking. Fall Offs.......yes that often unpractised manouvre quite often a large part of a surfing session. I for one use the fall off as the greater part of my sessions and will after viewing this footage certainly work hard to be more spectacular in my execution of this much uncredited surfing must.
Crescent is providing waves on and off and today is shaping up to be a good one, so I will be out there applauding those who can make fall offs look spectacular.
On a more serious note, I have 2 pictures of Ellie Brooks (photographer credited on photos) which show the mature style for such a young surfer. For those who have not seen her in action I have a previous post highlighting her ability.
The photo below is really clever, and I do not know who took it but credit to them. How good would this be!!
Please enjoy the film clip titled Fall Offs and I ask that you start applauding those you see in your surfing sessions (including yourself) creating Fall Offs of a unique or spectacular nature. It is such a cool manouvre!!
I will be in Sydney in a couple of weeks so get your surfing up to scratch and the camera will be on you.
Aloha
