The Sydney search

Greetings one and all from the working town of Sydney. As previously indicated your 6Ps correspondent ventured south to Cronulla in search of waves and talent to film.

Today is my last day in the congested super dome and not a shutter was used - no surf - weather extremes and a ruptured bicep has ended any chance of quality film this time around. While trying to make the most of a small uninteresting wave at Cronulla's "The Ally" I somehow managed to rupture my bicep and possible tendon damage.

So here I am typing with one hand and feeling sorry for myself.

Anyway enough about myself lets talk about me.........Next week I will be on the NSW South Coast area attempting to chase waves to film. (after visiting a shoulder/bicep specialist). The mission continues despite the obstacles.

Home has never seemed so far away at the moment and the rhythm of Crescent is being missed.

This months Surfing World magazine is a must see. Highly recommended for its reviews on all things alternate to the usual commercial world of contests and hidden surf company promotions. An excellent article is an overview of Ozzie Wrights rather adventurous life - a must read.

There is also some brilliant photography and reference to some good sites and film/books etc.,

Fletcher Hayllar - 6'4" McTavish classic fish.
This is one of my favourite photos - graceful-feminine-style-class.

The weather change is on its way- Cronulla.

A report next week will hopefully have some more film and happier surf conditions. As always........I remain optimistic.

Aloha
