Style-Colour and Class

Its not often that you get truly class style and seriously "artistic" attempts at explaining surfing on this site. However, with the introduction of attracting female as well as male observers to this blog the game has lifted.

While the section on Relationships still remains some what tongue in cheek, todays post is filled with nice photos and a film clip titled "PURE". The clip is in slow motion and is meant to be watched with no distractions and in a quiet place. PURE is a clip that takes colour and movement as its main star. The style of surfers is slowed to understand the contortions and stoke they enjoy. The water movement from manouvres is spectacular and the colour of the water and sky is truly beautiful. I guess you could say this clip is arty farty, but it does put you in a nice place......I hope.

Quicksilver
I am getting the feeling that at least one of the big 3 surf product companies is attempting to distance itself from the crowd. While the other 2 remain focused on volume and trashing the original attraction to surf wear, Quicksilver seem to be very selective in advertising and have a difference in their product. They don't seem to over supply stores and have quality and original designs placing them in a different space to the other 2.
One such example is this advertisement on the very back cover of Surfing World magazine:

It's not an obvious advertisement but has its familiar logo visible enough. The fusion of art and Quicksilvers team member Craig Anderson is original and is almost good enough to frame.

So, if you after quality and a different looking surf product check out Quicksilver.

I'm sure this little outfit would fit nicely on most women. 

This stylish model wears a hat and the horse has a nice tail. But hey nice photo.
