It is often argued that we improve things as we develop as humans. Things like medicine, technology and architecture improve our standards. And I think they may.
6Ps waivers in and out of this theory every day. Especially technology. We soak it up to improve our photography, filming and surfing. Buildings can tell a story the same as film and at times we let them die with not much dignity or let them be replaced with "modern" buildings that have a 10 year life.
Instead, while heading along some back roads our man got mesmerised by the old buildings still standing on farms. Most were buildings that had been abandon long ago for the modern architecture of today.
All observations become a tapestry of old v new, good v bad, should it be v should it not be etc etc etc. But somewhere in the middle is this tapestry, this thing that has so many parts, colours and dimensions.
So today we celebrate, in photos, yesterday...the old.
So, what has the surf been like?
The good spots in a north easter I can not divulge, the well known spots have been poor.
Aloha
