Layback Friday

Today the swell has dropped back and has become a loggers paradise of nose riding and drop knee turns. The point is not picking up the south swell too well but further up the beach there are decent size waves to be had.

The town has a friday atmosphere of breathing easy and "oh well do it tomorrow".

The picture is of a young girl surfing who was far and above the pack and showed style, a pleasure to observe. The air temperature this morning was around 14 degrees and the water was about 19 degrees, quite ok until you got out.

I am using my iphone to take photos at the moment due to an untimely demise of my normal camera who met its death at the bottom of my daughter Gabis handbag. Stick with me the quality will improve as soon as I make the trek into the big smoke (port Macquarie).

Some wise words

Tred lightly in the world, use little, throw away less and distinguish between wants and needs.
