Food, Health and Cooking for Surfers

6Ps is genuinely concerned about the health of its followers and the need to avoid the fast food trends of todays world.

Surfers in particular require a lighter rather than a heavy body weight in order to remain flexible and fit to perform the contortions while on waves.

No one at 6Ps is a doctor nor nutritionist so therefore we never recommend any diets or exercises without recommending you see your own doctor or nutritionist. (disclaimer complete)....

So..........what has led 6Ps down this track, and to produce a full documentary film on the subject?

Well.......our 6Ps film producer, who lets just say is in his mature years, has been successful in shedding 12kgs over the past 12-18 months and so therefore we thought it would be interesting to share this miraculous transformation.

It all appears on todays film "Food and Health for Surfers". This film was painstakingly put together with the detail required to achieve a comprehensive insight.

6Ps is very aware of the limited time people have to view such material in their busy worlds, however, we cannot reduce the time below the 18 minutes required to view the entire film, or as we are starting to call it, a documentary.

Should anyone wish to receive either a DVD or Memory stick of this humorous look at Food, health and cooking we can supply it for $11, which includes postage and handling. A great gift idea for someone you may wish to lose some unwanted weight.................

(The free option is to view it on YouTube, but it does cost you download time)

Simply email: paul_hayllar@yahoo.com.au and we will arrange payment details and prompt supply.

The Supply Garden

6Ps has its own vegie garden to produce the organic vegetables it uses for cooking.

The pain and agony of looking after this garden is a story of its own!

There has been lots of "experiences" encountered getting the vegie garden working the least of all the continual sabotage by insects and native animals, all of which meet in the bushland, have a conference, and decide how to best attack the "humans vegie garden".

It must be stated at this point we had no idea how to actually grow vegetables and coming from the City originally did not understand there are more insects and animals than flys and dogs.

As an example of this, at times we sit in the garden area observing the wonderful crop with pride and feeling one with nature. In one instance while observing the leaves of the broccoli and cauliflower, a white butterfly gracefully lowered itself over the plants and flew around and over the leaves to eventually land on a leaf. As this happened our hearts skipped a beat to realise that such a wonderful looking butterfly landed on our leaf to have a rest - how wonderful - we thought.

Some weeks later we observed our plants being deleafed, eaten, destroyed and sick. Yep........the white butterfly, in fact is not a beautiful thing...........its a leaf eating Nazi, a machine devouring every leaf it can find and growing to gigantic proportions................

Perhaps the biggest challenge has been the night stalker..........yes a "Yeti" like "thing" entering the garden at night while all are asleep, wearing a balaclava, and smuggly treading all over the garden and eating all the roots and plants it can find. What could this be? Certainly not a dog......no K9 would like fresh vegetables or anything that is not out if a can.

The final straw was a total crop devastation. We sent in our forensic expert Milo, who was like a CSI member angrily arresting every insect and snail he could find. The final conclusion was reached after footprints were discovered leading into the garden of about an inch wide, and leading out of the garden, footprints about 3 inches wide. It was obvious that this "thing" was entering the garden, eating the vegetables and then turning into the "hulk" of animals on leaving. This was a scary scenario, but confirmed as true. Yes........a possum, or in fact many possums were meeting in the bushland, getting nude, and dancing around a fire celebrating there new found dumb humans. ( not anymore, Milo took to them with a can of possum off)

There are many stories of the battle of the vegie garden, however, we have now won the war. A picture of the new protected garden is below:
