6Ps: Freaks monsters and beauties

The crew at 6Ps has been delving into those things that make us smile, make us laugh and make us wish we could adapt to the likes of beauties such as Stephanie Gilmore. By adapt, we mean, we haven't met her personally so have no idea what she is like behind the physical beauty.

Harrison Roach is a great surfer and is linked with Rhythm surf wear. His style is almost identical to that of 6Ps film editor Milo. This photo sums it up.

Sometimes when we are filming, surfers, kids, and freaks come up to us to ask if we can film them. We usually have a pretty set format when we film and have already focused on the surfer we wish to film, so it is hard to knock back the kids requests. Surfers usually understand and get a bit embarrassed when we explain we are already filming someone, thats cool.

Which leaves us with the freaks. These are people who have no idea or manners and insist we film them "because I am good!" or "in my day mate they reckon I was better than Nat young, but I broke my toe nail and didn't get a chance to surf against him". (As as a slight side issue, don't ever let anyone tell you that smoking dope has no long term affects. There are some weird old freaks out there still bonging on and thinking they are normal!!)

Anyway, we had an occasion where a goat boat dope smoking old fart nearly pulled a knife on us if we didn't film just how good he was!!

Some freaks love the smell of nepalm in the morning! But hey Milo reckons this movie was the best he ever saw......Apocalypse Now. Worth a look if you want to see what the 70s was like.
