Dylan Hannah - Profile

6Ps is proud to be associated with Dylan Hannah the Jackson surfboard sponsored surfer who spends considerable time in the air and over waves as well as on them. Not to mention his like of skydiving.

Dylan is family and his achievements in surfing and life are incredible. The father of 2 beautiful children and the husband of Mel has accomplished more than most people do in a lifetime.

Known for a bit of ink, and passion for all things edgy, Dylan does not hold back.

6Ps was there when as a very young guy he first experienced the Crescent Head wave where he stood out as an aggressive attacker of the layback wave. His barrels and attack up and down the wave across the racetrack still stick in my mind.

It is ironic that Crescent and Dylan have linked back up later in life. His sponsor- Jackson Surfboards - has a history in Crescent Head where the original owner, Brian Jackson resides (as well as Cronulla, time is spent between the two)

Crescent Head will see Dylan during January 2012 where he will be spending sometime with the family and ripping the place apart.

If you don't see him you will see Harlow, his "like Dad" daughter, easily recognisable:

Dylan has won many a contest and is an awesome freesurfer where his full bag of tricks light up the beach. For a full profile on Dylan visit the Jackson Surfboard website - the link is on the right of my page.

Dylan doesn't say too much and lets his surfing talk. Enjoy the shots below:

The Quicksilver sponsored Matt Banting has spent some time in Crescent lately and can tear things apart. I would love to see Dylan and Matt out there doing their stuff.

Make sure if you see Dylan around in Creso  say gidday and let him know where the fish are biting.

Jackson Surfboards

On a recent trip to Cronulla I dropped into the Jackson Surfshop and had a good talk with the owners. There were a couple of things I got from this discussion.

  • The internet and import boards are making it difficult for the craftsman to survive. Each to their own opinion on this, but in my opinion there is nothing better then a board made by craftsman with your personal input.
  • Jackson unconditionally support Dyaln Hannah and you have to admit Dylan does some incredible things with a Jackson under his feet. Maybe you will too.
Support Jackson Surfboards.

Aloha
