The Sea was angry that day my friend

Todays post is some film of a Fishing trip out to sea. The exit point was the Tweed River and through the D'bah beach area.

The unfortunate slightly early return to shore was brought on by a huge storm cell that decided to hit when we were 30klm out to sea. The sea was angry that day my friend.

Due to the weather closing in and the water spewing onto the deck I could not catch the last hour on board. We had to batton down the hatches and the camera took a dry retreat.

As for the fishing, what a great experience!! They were jumping on lines everywhere as you will see in the film clip.

Some of the comments in the background of this clip are worth the listen, not to mention the excitement of the catch.

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic Port
Aboard this tiny ship
The mate was a mighty sail'n man
The skipper brave and sure
10 passengers set sail that day
For a three hour tour
A three hour tour

The weather started getting rough
The tiny ship was tossed
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
The minnow would be lost.

Should this clip not load, due to it being a 6 minute film, simply click on my YouTube icon on the right of this page.

Sit back and enjoy some hackers having some fun playing serious fisherman/woman.

The fellow sea going crew ended the day at the local Pub - Salt Bar, and were last seen with their sea legs wobbling home around midnight.

Thank God we live in Australia where all this is available to us and the Sea is full of life.

I hope this brings a smile to your face.

Aloha
