We introduced her as a young girl who could really do some backhand surfing like no other of her age. 6Ps also filmed her at Snapper Rocks and D-Bar, which is still on You Tube. As with all young kids though, there was school and surfing to balance, the expense of competing and all the trials of an elite athlete.
If you go through our blog archives you will see she had a wonderful help when a company named level 7 sponsored her (Nov 2012).
Her family has been there with her all the way.
Well............she has now completed year 12, has done exceptionally well and is sponsored by RUSTY!!!! The future is looking good, but with all things balance will be the key because determination is not lacking with Ellie.

This young girl deserves a break into the big time, and we at 6Ps wish her all the best and will continually update stories as she progresses. We also support women surfers in general who, to be fair, do not get the sort of prize money male surfers receive.
