Things have settled as Autumn begins it's journey into winter. The cloud formations are majestic, the sunsets almost pastel, and the harshness of summer drops away.
The surf is now not affected by savage North East winds and a breath of wind is more the norm. Surfable waves in warm water and evenings closing in as you exit the water in semi darkness.
The rhythm is going strong and the clouds reflect Autumns breathless stage.
The 6PS Team have been busy finalising things for the overseas sessions in 2 weeks, finishing off web projects and filming local band The Roys as they perform. A sample of their efforts is on the "Crescent Head Events" page of this blog. Their version of "Miss you" by the Rolling Stones is brilliant.
6Ps experimented with filming the live session of The Roys at the Crescent Head Tavern. Both the band and the film crew were stoked with the result. The sound was not lost through the camera and the filming captured the "feeling" of the event.
A complete DVD of about 50 minutes has been produced, with a further single from the session of 10 minutes featuring "Miss You" viewable on the "Crescent Head Events" page. At this stage no plans are made to sell the DVD, however if you are interested please email us here at 6Ps.
We are planning a huge surf movie for our next release, and are gearing up the equipment needed to produce a first class film. Stay tuned to our blog and join us on our journey.
(details on how to purchase "13" our current surf film is available on the Film and photography page)
Aloha
