( 2013 Malibu Classic Crescent Head DVD out now - go to Film and Photography page to order your copy - cheers)
Isn't it weird how as a kid sometimes you got a little mixed up. I mean, I did, I'm guessing everyone else did, or maybe everyone else didn't............anyway I got mixed up with words and spelling.
I remember being in the back of my parents car staring out the window, which you actually had a handle for and had to wind up and down. It wasn't a button that you pushed, it was actually a handle you turned. Everyone else's car had them too. I mean ours did, I'm guessing everyone else did, or maybe everyone else didn't.....anyway our car had wind up windows.
Anyway, sometimes when I was looking out the window I would see these signs, and at the same time, hear gravel being spun up off the ground under the wheel arches of the car. It seemed that the sign was some sort of a way of telling me "beware soft eggs". I could never understand why soft eggs would be a problem to a car.
Until some years later I noticed it actually said..." Beware Soft Edges".
Well......you can imagine what happened when I confused Gallery with Gallows. Everyone was dying to go to the Gallows (later known as Gallery). Those arty people sure had a death wish and when I heard stories about Van Gogh, and other assorted artists, I was never surprised that they died early. After all it was only a matter of time before they became victim to the Gallows.
So all this simply leads to the fact that 6Ps has now acquired/borrowed a gallery/studio to quietly go about producing film and assorted artwork in country tranquility and a great atmosphere. Only 13 minutes from the Point at Crescent head.
We need to do a bit of work to it but hey, we are like rats with a gold tooth about this.
Here is a picture of the Gallows pre renovations (we will post a picture post renovation)
( Note: front verandah for after work drinks.....)
6Ps has aslo added another page to it's "tabs" at the top of the page. For those receiving this via email, please go to the web version by clicking on the blue 6Ps icon at the foot of your email.
We have decided to add a photo gallery page to decongest some of our other pages. This will enable us to upload some extra photos for your viewing pleasure. We have also changed some colours around on our blog to enhance the experience a little. Hope you like it.
We have added a couple of nice pictures from The Common Ground of Byron Bay Blog (link at side of this page). Just nice photos to make you feel good.
Please visit our photo gallery, which today has a photo shoot of the smoke and bamboo shadows, plus some older shots of previous work.
